In 2024, George travelled to China and experienced something that changed everything. Walking through the streets, he noticed people casually grabbing powerbanks from stations everywhere — cafes, train stations, shopping centres, even street corners.

No dead phones. No anxiety about battery life. Just freedom to explore without that nagging worry about staying connected.

Back home, George shared this idea with his friend Dimeji. They saw the same problem everywhere — tourists missing photos, business travelers losing important calls, locals unable to navigate home. Within weeks, they had their first prototype. Within months, ZAPT was born.
